It is with a heavy heart that we regret to announce the death of our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Francis Belle of Cottage.
He was 73 years old.
He died at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital on Sunday, July 12th, 2026.
He was predeceased in death by his sons Curtis Belle and Brent.
He is survived by his:
Sisters: Celestine Belle and Clementine Agnes Pierre-Louis.
Brother: Denis Belle
Nieces to include: Calpurnia Zelateur, Desdemonia Visconti, Jessica Pierre-Louis, Esther Wallace, Angelique Elizee Morvan, Bernadette Elizee, Hellen St. Hilliare, Indira Pierre-Louis, Sylvester Belle, Sandra Daniel Andre, Denise Belle, Sonilia Belle, Denisia Belle and many others abroad too numerous to mention.
Nephews to include: Josiah Pierre-Louis, Cassius Pierre-Louis, Mitchel Ettiene, Altheus (Boyson) Elizee, Denison Belle, Denis Jr. Belle, Durand Belle, Dannis Belle and many others abroad too numerous to mention.

The funeral service for the late Francis Belle, also known as Lodo of Cottage, will take place at the Toucarie Catholic Chapel on Friday, 14th August, 2026. Viewing will commence at 2:00 pm, and the funeral service at 2:30 pm, followed by interment at the Toucarie Catholic Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gentle Rest Funeral Home.
The family of the late Francis Belle AKA (Lodo) wishes to thank everyone who assisted or sympathised in one way or another. Your prayers and kind gestures are what helped us to cope with his loss. May God continue to richly bless you
