Death announcement of 72 year old Merle Maria Hyacinth nee Vital of Toucarie who resided in Tane-Tane then later in Portsmouth

We announce the death of 72 year old Merle Maria Hyacinth nee Vital of Toucarie who resided in Tane-Tane then later in Portsmouth, she passed away on Monday, 8th of September, 2025 at the Northern District Home For The Aged in Grange, Portsmouth.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Herman Hyacinth.

She left to mourn;

1 Son: Dave Laville better known as Cecin

1 Grand daughter: Shernelle Laville

1 Step daughter: Cordillia Hyacinth

2 Sisters: Elizabeth in Guadeloupe and Dorothy in Grenada.

5 Brothers: elsworth Roberts in Dominica, Matthew, Davidson and Anslem Roberts in Guadeloupe, and mamèw in France.

2 Nieces: Marium in Antigua and Ann-Marie in Guadeloupe.

2 Nephews: Darius in Dominica and Rudolph in Guadeloupe.

4 Sisters-in-law: Bernadine Roberts, Petra Baron, Lucia and Mariah Hyacinth.

Close cousins: Anna, Virginia, Ernestine, Molet, ursula, unella, Eric and Brother.

Close friend and former caretaker: Hannah Flerin.

Close Relatives and Friends: Jennifer and Family, Clavia and Family, Idora Duverney and Family, Caso and Family, Vernice and Family, Annette and Family, Charles and Family, Ma Paul and Family, Sister Hall and Family, Rosaline and Family, Maria Coll, Jenillia, Garzella, The Vital Family of Toucarie and the Roberts Family of Portsmouth.

Special Mention: Management and Staff Of The Northern District Home For The Aged in Grange Portsmouth, Parliamentary Representative For The Cottage Constituency Hon. Roland Royer, Prime Minister Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Management and Staff of the Yes We Care Program, Doctors and Nurses of The Reginald Fitzroy Armour Hospital and The Dominica China Friendship Hospital. The body of the late Merle Maria Hyacinth nee Vital will be viewed at 1:30pm on Monday 22nd September, 2025 at the Reconciliation and Deliverance Ministries in Glanvillia, Portsmouth ( behind the gas station) Funeral service begins at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Chance public cemetery.
