Death Announcement of 66 year old Riffin Kelsick of Wesley who resided in New Jersey

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Riffin Kelsick of Wesley Village. He was 66 years old.

He died on August 2, 2021 at his home in New Jersey.

Riffin leaves to mourn one son: Kern Kelsick, and two daughters Sindy Kelsick and Lisa Kelsick;

Five grand-children: Jordan Yates, Kristina and Kelly Kelsick, Eli Christmas and Olivia Earls;

One daughter-in-law: Alexis Kelsick;

Two sons-in-law: Ken Christmas and Wayne Earls;

Living Siblings: Martin Benjamin, Cynthia Benjamin Gabriel, Leotha Letang, Roma Telemaque, Claristina Williams, Aury Francis, Weldon Kelsick, Dr. June Kelsick Giles, Dr. Wilbour Kelsick, Avandale Kelsick, Jeffery Kelsick;

Brothers and Sisters in Law: Jackson Telemaque, Noel Francis, Jennifer Kelsick, Ken Giles, Venessa Kelsick;

Step-mother: Cecelia Kelsick of Wesley (otherwise known as Tanty);

Step-sisters: Sylvia Samuel, Frances Tonge;

A host of friends including: Lynette Samuel, Charlie, Natty, Tony, Paul, Management, Employees and Patrons at Charlie’s Garage in Irvington, New Jersey, John from Advanced Auto in Irvington, Emerson from AutoZone in Irvington, Derrick James – Zoning Officer in Irvington, Bernadette, Ronald and Salas Christmas in North Carolina, the Ducreay Family of Wesley, Kenny Durand, Fidel Grant – Minister of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security, Mena Grant, Charles Grant, Ricky Andrew,  Jerry Don Bazil, Sylviline Bazil, Kriston (Tom) Bazil, Kelton Bazil, Neva Reid, John Paul And Dina Joseph, Fellers from the Gulf in Wesley including Kell, Sunny, Pimpim, Elwin, Sando, Pabay, Cecil, Cleveland Dodds (otherwise known as Balaw) and his close friend Gerald;

Riffin was preceded in death by his parents Wills and Rosanna Kelsick of Wesley, his siblings Dr. Merlin Kelsick and Magdalene Kelma Kelsick, his closest Uncle, Frampton Alick, brother/cousin/friend Reginald Samuel, Edmond Savarin and their families.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Riffin Kelsick on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:30am at The Morristown Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located at 501 Tempe Wick Rd, Morristown, NJ 07960.

The repass will follow at 11:30am on the same day at The Suite Spot, 24 1st Street, South Orange, NJ 07079.

A live feed will be provided for those unable to physically attend.
