We announce the passing of Charles Hypolite Auguiste, aged 65, of Bath Road who resided in Portsmouth and Pottersville. He peacefully departed on the 19th of December 2023 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
Left to Mourn:
6 Siblings: Rosetta Charles also known as Ma Wallicks, Francis Auguiste also known as Second and Julie Auguiste (all located in Dominica), Rosemary and Augustus Auguiste (both located in Guadeloupe), and Joseph Auguiste (located in England)
11 Nephews: Special mention of Jeremy Marie in England and Mark Moutousammy in Guadeloupe
14 Nieces: Special mention of Joelle Manette also known as Moda (England), Christelle Marie (US), Nicole Manette (France) and Charlene Charles also known as Pumkin (Dominica)
Grand Nieces, Nephews and cousins located in Dominica and abroad – too numerous to mention
Friends: Too numerous to mention.
Special Mention of his neighbors on Piveteau Street in Pottersville including the Gibbons Family, Ruthine and Joan, Alice Williams and Power of Portsmouth.
The body of Charles Hypolite Auguiste will be transported from Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30 pm on Monday 26th February 2024 at the St. Geralds Hall (Roseau Cathedral Chapel). The funeral mass begins at 3:00 pm followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
The family of Charles Hypolite Auguiste would like to say a special thank you to the management and staff of Gentle Rest funeral home who was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
