Death Announcement of 57 year old Joshua “Joe” Bontiff of Calibishie

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Joshua “Joe” Bontiff, age 57 of Calibishie. Born March 8th, 1966, “Joe” gained his wings at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital on April 15th, 2023.

He leaves to Mourn:

Daughters: Lynah and Joelyn Bontiff.

Granddaughter: Mylah Remy

Brothers: Maymount Honore, Peterson, and Michael Gilbert, Edward, and Jamesy Bontiff.

Sisters-In-Law: Voney Gilbert, Vania Bontiff, Mary-Ann Angol.

Sisters: Ruth Africa Francis, and Camalite George.

Brothers-In-Law: Curtis Francis, and Andrew Rabess.

Uncles: Legend Bontiff, and John LeBlanc.

Aunts: Alice Joseph, and Laurencia Alexander.

Several nieces and nephews including James, and Leo Bontiff, LeQuan Joseph, Fredrickson, Teddison, Yannis,  Charleston, and Diliton Gilbert, McLean Rabess, Lynton Africa, Ronaldo George, Jolan Pierre-Louis, Abishai Massicotte, Jamessica, Jamesline, Jayline, Sharon Davis, Eddianna, Edilia, Edisha, and Ezra Bontiff, Verisa George, Christelle Pierre, Lyne Bonnie, Kaylie, and Vanessa Gilbert, Lisa Massicotte, and Paticia, Kris, and Marie Jose Rabess.

Several cousins including Valda and Ned John, Matina Lawrence, Veronica, Lauren, Elvin, Joann Peters, Isaiah, Francois Benjamin, Kristi, Guery, Ethson, and Allen Alexander, Youlicia, Youraline, Chrisland, Cleveland,  Bertine, Michelle, and Ian Leblanc, many others too numerous to mention.

Close friends including Veronica George, Ashley Daniel, Augustine, and Valley O’Brien, Merlin Joseph, Meridith Celestine, Nazlin Benjamin,Manuela Henry and family, Liburd, Dorian, Paul, Jemma, Paul Armour, Suzan George (Caretaker), Kerran, Denister, Verdan, the boys at Bigg Tuff Bar, the entire Backstreet community, the Marigot Health Team, and many others too numerous to mention.

The funeral details of the late Joshua “Joe” Bontiff of Calibishie will take place on Friday 5th May at the Woodfordhill Baptiste Church

Burial will take place at the Marigot Public Cemetery.
