It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Mr. Sylvester ‘Neville’ Durand also known as ‘WALLA MAN’ age 54 of Atkinson.
He will be remembered by:
5 Brothers: George Durand, Anthony Durand, Peter Durand, Valence Durand and Heskieth Durand in Dominica.
4 Sisters: Mary Durand, Ann Durand, Maria Durand-Williams in Dominica and Euline Durand-John Charles in England.
25 Nieces and Nephews: Names too numerous to mention
Sisters in Law: Charon Durand and Mable Durand
Brother in Law: Jean Williams and Mitchell Eusebe
Other Cousins & Relatives including: The Durand and Laville family in Atkinson, The Olivaccè family of Gallon and Ann Corbet & Family in Stock Farm. Names too numerous to mention.
Close Friends: The entire village of Atkinson and the bordering communities in extension as well as those who have migrated.
The body of the late Sylvester Durand will be laid to rest on Thursday the 14th of January, 2021 at the Salybia Roman Catholic Church. 2:30pm viewing and service at 3:00pm followed by burial at the Salybia Catholic Cemetery.
