We are sad to announce the death of sixty-five-year-old Gibbons Benjamin, otherwise known as Benjy of Bense, who resided at Goodwill. He passed away on 29 April 2024 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
He is survived by his:
Wife: Jane Florant-Benjamin
Children: Richard, Annalisa, Neil, Kenny, and Gibson
Grandchildren: Tamika, Triffian, Niel, Mikie, Toia, Kaden, Keneil, Annelise, and Kayleigh
Brothers: Ivon, Carl, Steve, Jimmy, and Richard
Sisters: Bermin, Sherita, Judy, Sharon, Jasmin, and Jasminda
Eight nephews, and ten nieces.
Aunts: Daisy, Hilma, and Vanya
Cousins: Leford, Francisca, Daron, Kerissa, Austin, Tony, Rennicks, Addison, Jefferson, Emma, Nanda and other members of the Matthew family in Bense, Vincent and other members of the Dupuis family in Bense, Kent Johnson and family, the Benjamin family in Wesley, and Elenora and other members of the Joseph family in Bense

The funeral for the late Gibbons Benjamin will be held on Friday 10 May 2024 with viewing at 1:30pm followed by the service at 2:00pm at the Anse De Mai Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Anse De Mai cemetery.
