Death annoucement of 99 year old Adriana Charles, better known as Miss Dilcie of Marigot

We announce the death of 99 year old Adriana Charles, better known as Miss Dilcie, of Marigot. She died on Friday 16th May 2025.

She will be remembered by her daughters: Heather James who resides in London and Petra James-Matthew who resides in St. Eustatius. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren: Cora-Ann Pestaina-Dieudonné (dee-o-donay) in New York, Niall Ferreira in Marigot, Shara Stevens-Edwards in Sylvania, Ashley James in New York, Rachel Matthew and Richard Matthew residing in Jamaica. She will also be remembered by her great grandchildren: Jaheel Linton in St. Kitts, Kody Stevens, Asaiah and Astrid Edwards in Sylvania, Kady Ferreira in Marigot, Lukas and Eden Dieudonné (dee-o-donay) in New York and great-great grandchild Celestial Linton in St. Kitts.

Ms. Charles will also be remembered by son-in-law Rev. Telford Matthew, grandsons-in-law Peter Dieudonné (dee-o-donay) and Frank Edwards, granddaughter-in-law Emaline Telemaque-Ferreira. She will also be remembered  by many of her nephews and nieces, including Walton Jacobs in St. Kitts. As well as close relatives and friends: Violet Abraham, Vena Prevost, Rogerson and Lucia Riviere, John and Juliet Lewis, Mrs. Delia Bardouille, Mrs. Georgina Liburd, Ronald James and family, members of the Zion Methodist Congregation, Patrice Molimi and Dr. Curtis St. John. She will also be remembered by the James, Charles, Alfreds and Robin families of Marigot and Wesley. Other families and friends are too numerous to mention.

The Thanksgiving Service for the late Adriana Charles of Marigot will be held at the Zion Methodist Church in Marigot on Friday 6th June 2025 at 2:00 p.m and interment will be in the church Cemetery.
