Death Announcement of 89 year old Agatha Matilda Douglas Dupuis better known as Ma Poy of Lagoon, Portsmouth

We announce the death o f Agatha Matilda Douglas Dupuis better known as Ma Poy of Lagoon, Portsmouth who went home to be with the Father on September 17th , 2021, at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her:
Husband: Whitfield Dupuis, known as Poy and a granddaughter Clemencia JohnBaptist and great
grandson Jaden Prince.

She is survived by her children Roy Patrick, June Prince, Felicia Scott, Nita James Brooker, Connie, Willard, Orson, Miller, Zetma and Zetillia Dupuis


Daughters-in-law: Primrose Patrick, Kandice, Erika, and Agar Dupuis


Son-in-Law: Moe Brooker


35 grandchildren including Tina Patrick, Dr. Mervin Wallace (Daphne), Eddy Prince, Natasa Peter (Glenroy), Amelia Browne, Daniel JohnBaptist, Christian Jennings, Stephan, Kegan and Kashif Scott, Nabi Wallace, Dane Nicholas, Kishma, Darius, Royesha, Colleen, Nikita, Marcus, Dominique, Kishandra, Amari, Tristan, Shahid, Andre, Destiny, Amayra, Karissa, Miller Junior and Kamilla Dupuis, Kennesha Africa, Zidanea DeSuza, Bevon Joseph, Luchiano and Giovanni Dupuis


23 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, several nieces, sisters and brothers including Dian and Tony Douglas. Jhonis Dupuis and family, and the rest of the Dupuis family overseas

Neighbors including Titus Francis and the Francis family, Beverly Sabin, Teacher Jestine Alexis and family, Dale Thomas and the Thomas family, Miss Joyce Vidal and family, Ma Crafford and family, cousin Birdie Hutton and family, Nenette Baptist and family, The Bethel family, Ma Nelson, Alrick DeSuza and Cynthia Benjamin and family of Antigua


Special mention of her granddaughter Natasha Peter who worked tirelessly to ensure that she receive the best care and that all her needs were met


She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and a dear friend to many


She will be greatly missed but she is dancing with her beloved husband in the presence of the Lord

Celebration of life service of Agatha Matilda Douglas Dupuis better known as Ma Poy will be held at the Portsmouth Catholic church on Friday 1st October 2021
at 10.00 AM and internment to follow at the Portsmouth Cemetery
