DAIC host ECCB Governor to Present on Dominica’s Progress as Part of the ECCU Transformation

The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) will host Governor Timothy N. J. Antoine of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) at its signature Chew On It Luncheon to present on the theme “Transforming the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union Together – Dominica’s Scorecard.” This event will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 at the Fort Young Hotel Waterfall Room.

 

Dominica has a key role in the transformation of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU), and as such, advances have been made by Dominica in achieving this pursuit. Governor Antoine will report on Dominica’s progress as part of the regional transformation as well as engage attendees with questions related to the same.

 

This event follows the recently held 4th Growth and Resilience Dialogue on February 13th at the ECCB Headquarters in Saint Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis. This dialogue was a meeting of the minds of public and private sector partners, focused on addressing the growth, competitiveness and employment in the ECCU in a sustainable manner.   At this Dialogue, DAIC was represented by its President, Mr. Kenneth Green.

 

DAIC encourages all Members and Private Sector Stakeholders to attend this Luncheon to understand from the perspective of the ECCB, the progress of Dominica as part of the regional transformation of the ECCU.
