CSA’s CARIBBEAN & AMERICAS REGIONAL ENGAGEMENT TOUR

The Commonwealth Students Association (C.S.A) with the support of the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) on June 27th, 2019 will host a One Day Capacity Building Workshop targeting student and youth leaders as part of activities for CSA’s Regional Engagement Tour of the Commonwealth Caribbean.

The 1-day capacity building workshop focusing on the areas of leadership and student governance on June 27th at Prevo Cinemall Ballroom and will form part of the Commonwealth Students Association’s Regional Engagement Tour of the Commonwealth Caribbean where the  Regional Chairperson is scheduled to be in the Commonwealth of Dominica from June 26th – 28th 2019.

The Commonwealth Students Association (CSA) and Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) are independent umbrella organizations established under the mandates of the Commonwealth Charter to represent the needs, interests, and voices of young individuals in the Commonwealth. The main aims of the two  Commonwealth organizations are to communicate, engage and advocate for youth and student-led participation. The CYC and CSA work to mobilise the voices of its members and advocate for governments to meaningfully engage youth and students.

The Caribbean and Americas Regional Engagement Tour will be the first time that an official of the Commonwealth Students’ Association will be visiting Dominica and forms part of a wider movement under the CSA to increase the quality and quantity of national student organizations and student movements operating within the Commonwealth.
