CBN Dominica Inc (managers of Dominica National Lottery) is seeking a Senior Studio Production Technician with exceptional supervision skills to lead our production staff and to create and manage live and post-video productions.   As Senior Studio Production Technician you will supervise the production and broadcast of live Lottery draws and other recorded productions.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and supervisory skills.

• Sound knowledge and skilled in editing and production of videos and audio.
• Graphics and animation software proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe Illustrator.
• Sound knowledge of video switching and graphic designs.
• Knowledge of IT Networking in a TV environment.
• Knowledge and skills related to streaming media.
• Ability to manage social media platforms.
• Ability to operate pro-consumer cameras.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems quickly and efficiently with studio equipment and software.
• Ability to motivate and develop the studio team to deliver to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A degree in Communications and three (3) years’ experience as a Production professional in a TV studio environment OR four (4) years’ experience as a Production professional in a TV studio environment.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience supervising a small studio and producing content.
• Expert knowledge of video and audio-editing and post-production tools.
• Familiarity with trade terminology.

This position involves travel and requires that the candidate have a valid driver’s license and a reliable working vehicle.
