The Dominica Calypso association has made a slight change to the list of calypsonians qualified to move to the grand quarter-finals of the competition. Nachael will now join 12 other calypsonians who will be vying for a spot.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the DCA said Following the submission of the results of the 2019 calypso elimination, the judges expressed some concern over the non- inclusion of one of the calypsonians in the 12 selected for the 2019 calypso quarterfinals.

The concern was further strengthened when the calypsonians requested a review of the 2019 elimination scores, which was done by all judges. Upon conducting a review based on the scores, it was determined the calypsonians Nachael will advance to compete at the 2019 quarterfinals which will be held on Saturday 2 February.

Nachael will now join Hunter, Black Diamond, Vigilante, Healer, Danyan, Webb, Mask Eruption, Triumph, Intruder, Soul Puss, and newcomer Irish Kidd. The reserves are Son of the Saint, Derose and Mighty Omee.
