Almost forty events have been packed into a little over two months as Dominicaβs Carnival βThe Real Masβ essentially kicks off with the staging of the Calypso Eliminations this weekend Saturday, December 5th.
Though the National Parade which climaxes with an Official Opening is slated for January 19 at the Carnival City from 3:00 pm, there are several events which precede that date. The official Carnival also suggests a return of the Showdown Mas Cap βCalypso Tentβ on January 18, while Dominicaβs longest-serving tent, βStardom,β will launch-off on January 19, 2019.
