Mr. Samuel Johnson has been approved by the Cabinet as Chief Executive Officer of the International Airport Development Company for the construction of the international airport in the Commonwealth of Dominica.

One of the most important goals of this Government is to significantly improve access to Dominica as a means of making a step change in our efforts of developing a resilient nation. Many studies have been done on the importance of an international airport to Dominica and the feasibility of it. The timely and successful construction of the airport is also instrumental to us achieving our long-term goals.

As we now move deeper into the construction phase, it is important that we attract the best talent and assemble a high-performing organization to help lead this initiative. With this in mind, Cabinet at a meeting on February 23, 2021, reviewed and approved the engagement of Mr. Samuel Johnson as the CEO of the newly formed International Airport Development Company (IADC).

In this new and strategic role, he will work collaboratively with the Board of the IADC, and the senior management team. He will focus on developing policies and strategies, and implementation of the same, in order to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the Company.

The Company will be critical in ensuring that all aspects of the project are carefully managed to ensure timely completion, within stipulated quality. It will also serve as a critical link between all stakeholders related to the project. Mr. Samuel H. Johnson is an award-winning executive with over 25 years’ senior management experience. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
