The Atkinson Village Council organized a grand welcome home motorcade to celebrate local cricket star Kavem Hodge, who hails from Atkinson. The event was held in recognition of Hodge’s impressive contributions to the West Indies cricket team, most notably his recent century against England.
The community felt that Kavem, a hometown hero, deserved to be honored for his achievements. In a proud moment for the village, a billboard was unveiled in his honor. Residents turned out in large numbers to celebrate, showing immense support and pride in their local star. The event was made possible by the hard work of the organizers and the generous contributions of sponsors. A big shoutout to everyone involved for making the celebration a success!
