The Arthur Waldron SDA Academy in the island of Dominica emerged winner of the Inter-Country portion of the Regional Schools Investment Competition among four other secondary schools. The competition took place during the period 27th February through 3rd March, 2023.
The team of 4th and 5th formers was led by the coach and Business Studies teacher Mrs. Emelda Bacchus. The students Shawn Moses, Jayda Boston, Melody Francis, Jahiem Sylvester and Ershelle George led their company “Gifted Profits” to victory with their investments in the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange.
The school will now progress to the next phase of the competition, in which eight schools, one school from each of the eight member countries of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union, will vie for overall Regional Champion over the period 13th March to 21st March.
