Anguilla Summer Festival 52 Officially Launched — Get Ready for Carnival Season July 24-August 9, 2026!

The countdown has officially begun! The Anguilla Summer Festival Committee has launched the 52nd edition of Anguilla’s biggest cultural celebration, promising weeks of electrifying entertainment, vibrant culture, and thrilling boat racing.

This year’s Anguilla Summer Festival will culminate in the island’s highly anticipated Carnival celebrations from July 24 to August 9, 2026, bringing together locals, the diaspora, and visitors from around the world for the ultimate Caribbean summer experience.

Speaking at the official media launch, Ministerial Assistant Hon. Jeison Bryan emphasized that the festival remains a cornerstone of Anguilla’s cultural identity and a powerful driver of summer tourism. Under this year’s banner, two powerful elements take center stage — Carnival and Boat Racing — representing the rhythm, pride, and heritage that define the Anguillian spirit.

The Anguilla Tourist Board, through Chief Marketing Officer Mrs. Kendisha Hall-Prentice, reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the festival globally, partnering with the Summer Festival Committee to attract visitors and showcase Anguilla as the ultimate summer destination.

Festival Chairman Mr. Fitzroy “Briggy” Tomlinson announced the official promotional theme for 2026 — “Anguilla for Summer.” The campaign invites the Anguillian diaspora and international visitors to return home or travel to the island to experience the magic of the festival season.

One of the exciting new initiatives this year is the Festival Passport Program, a dynamic engagement campaign encouraging patrons to attend multiple festival events. Each time a passport is scanned at an event, participants are entered for a chance to win prestigious prizes at the end of the carnival season.

Meanwhile, Anguilla Festivals Development Commission Chairman Mr. Romare Kelsick highlighted the festival’s continued role in showcasing Anguilla’s traditions through music, pageantry, community celebrations, and the island’s legendary boat racing culture.

With preparations already underway and applications now open for event promoters and partners, excitement is building for what promises to be one of the most spectacular editions yet.

From July 24 to August 9, Anguilla will come alive with color, music and pure Carnival bacchanal.

Residents, diaspora, and visitors alike are invited to join the celebration and experience Anguilla Summer Festival 52 — where culture, boat racing and carnival collide.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
