The American Corner is an American space within the Roseau Public Library which emanated from an MOU signed between the U.S. Embassy Bridgetown and the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development of Dominica. Through this partnership, the American Corner Dominica serves as a resource center for information and programs providing current and reliable information about the United States through books and other media collections, the internet and local programming.

Women in Entrepreneurship Workshops are as a result of this partnership. These workshops serve as a learning platform for emerging female entrepreneurs equipping them with relevant information and the necessary resources needed to run successful businesses, build their network, and share best practices in overcoming challenges. The U.S. Embassy Bridgetown plays a significant role in highlighting grant opportunities and professional exchanges available to women and other young entrepreneurs offered by the U.S. Department of State.

Over thirty-five vibrant young women representing diverse communities and business interests in Dominica attended the workshop at the American Corner located on the corner of Independence Street and Kennedy Avenue, Roseau.
