According to newly appointed Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Fidel Grant, the Ministry of Agriculture plans to undertake a project to rehabilitate farm access roads on the island.
He says, “The immediate plans for the Ministry is to look at all the feeder roads. In order for you to have production, you need to have access to your farm”.
The minister also revealed that they have already begun the process of examining roads on the island. The Ministry is also seeking to form linkages with other ministries such as trade.
Grant says that he is not daunted by the task and looks forward to exciting things to come.
