Fort Young Hotel Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of a powerful new art exhibition, Catharsis – The Blues, by Dominican artist Pauline Marcelle, on display at the Old Oven Art Gallery from February 5 to April 30, 2026.
In Catharsis – The Blues, Marcelle explores blue as both an emotional and elemental force — an act of mourning and renewal. Across the collection, blue becomes a visual and emotional field through which the artist reimagines the relationship between humanity, memory, and a wounded planet. The works invite viewers into a contemplative space where grief, resilience, and healing coexist.
Catharsis – The Blues Exhibition at the Fort Young Hotel’s Old Oven Art Gallery is open to the public from 10 am – 6 pm daily.
In addition, patrons are invited to experience Salt and Soul at Bwa Denn, Secret Bay. The solo exhibition by Marica Honychurch is a tribute to the pride of our people, the admiration of their traditions, and the enduring spirit of an island whose culture continues to shape and inspire. The exhibition is set to run from February 9 to May 5, 2026.
Salt and Soul Exhibition at Bwa Denn, Secret Bay is open to the public from 9am – 4pm daily.
Both exhibitions celebrate the richness of local creative expression while offering immersive encounters with art rooted in place, memory, and emotion.
