It is with great sadness that the Henderson family, announce the death of Thomas Henderson. Thomas fondly known as “Akcou”, from Lallay, Grandbay, he was married to Blossom Henderson (nee Fontaine) and spent his later life living in London, England. He spent his early adulthood working for London transport before retiring early due to illness.
He lived to the happy age of 97, he will be dearly missed by his 5 children (Angelina, Glenda, Julius, Roberta and Hermine), 14 grandchildren (Elsa, Sylvester, Dexton, Kywan, Kalon, Kenyan, Greg, Dominic, Kurt, Shanice, Delon, Chanelle, Jenna, Michelle), 9 great-grandchildren (Sherree, Kaira, Deianeira, Verrell, Jonathan, Alina, Kaelyn, Sapphire, Leshai) and 3 great-great-grandchildren (Amari, Aaliyah, Asia). Daughter in law Carol, Son in law Odo and Lipson, Grandson in law Vester, Great grandson in law Ryan. Several nieces and nephews to include Adie, Leno, Cyril, Okie , Jane, Patricia, Sharon and Boniface. Several other loved and appreciated family and friends too many to mention.
Thomas’s funeral will be held on Friday the 16th of May 2025 at Five Precious Wounds Catholic Church, London and then laid to rest at St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Harrow Road, London.
