Death Announcement of 71-year-old Mr. Paul Pierre, better known as ‘Baba,’ from the community of Grand Bay, who resided in Marigot

We announce the death of 71-year-old Mr. Paul Pierre, better known as ‘Baba,’ from the community of Grand Bay, who resided in Marigot. He was the son of the late Maria Denis Pierre and Patrick Pierre.

He will be remembered by his children: Paula, Petra, Keith, Maria, and Sheba Pierre, all of whom reside in Guadeloupe, as well as Sabejah Pierre and Chrishena Pierre in Dominica, and McKeemba Pierre in Tortola.

His grandchildren include Celina, Selly, Dionne, Vanom, Jayan Moris, Yoan, Noalee, Jade, Ted, Janisse, Sullivan, Yannick, Allison, Lorena, Elyass, Keysha, Jason, and Danyss, and he is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his sisters, Agatha Pickman and Marilyn Mullings in Antigua, and his brothers, Masden Dennis and Francis Francois.

His nieces include Myslyn Renault Bruno, Laure Raphael, Jemena Denis, Keshma Denis, Samantha Cuffy, Jermara Denis, Jermisha Mullings, Samantha Cuffy, and Bianca Francois.

Nephews include Winson Denis, Dwayne Gordon, Tarik Rivière, Tristom Francois, Marvin Cuffy, and Tawfiki Carty.

His grandnieces and grandnephews are Turneisha and Eleisha Alexander, Amarè Bruno, Amayah Rivière, and Ricquan, Dijohna, and Nyla Alfred.

His uncles are Augustus, Andrew, Paul, and Emmanuel Denis, and his aunts include Paula Denis of St. Kitts, Johnsonia Newton in America, Augustina Denis, Althea Denisin America, and Octavia Denis.

His cousins include Bernicia Johnson, Susan Dorsette, Ruby Dorsette, Godwin Dorsette, Burt Dorsette, and Homia Dorsette.

Close friends of the family include Moses Beumant and other fishermen from the Marigot Fisheries Complex, the Denis family in St. Joseph, and the Pierre family in Grand Bay.

The memorial mass for Mr. Paul Pierre will take place on Thursday, 20th March 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Wesley Roman Catholic Church.
