Goodwill, Dominica – [February 10 2025] – Love is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than at Love Town: The Ultimate Valentine’s Village Market from February 14th – 16th, 2025. The Goodwill Park near the Deliverance Baptist Church and Ruben’s Bread Depot on Federation Drive will be transformed into a magical hub of romance, shopping, and entertainment, bringing together the best of local micro food vendors, artisans, and experiences for an unforgettable Valentine’s celebration.
This unique three-day event promises a vibrant marketplace flled with delicious treats from some of your favourite micro businesses; plants and foral gifts, beauty products, and much more—perfect for fnding that special gift for a loved one. In addition to the diverse shopping experience, attendees can enjoy live music, interactive activities and games, and romantic photo spots that capture the essence of love.
Additionally, artist Shadrach Burton will host a sip and pain sessions each night between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and patrons are welcome to engage in buying tickets for the Sip & Paint activity in advance or engaging in the activity upon arrival!
Owner of Grazed by Asch and organizer of the Love Town event, Ashma McDougall, describes the Valentine’s Village as an experience with a twist—one that highlights the beauty and opportunities within Dominica while also creating economic and social impact.
“Too often, we travel and fall in love with what the world has to offer, forgetting that we have so much right here in Dominica. As an event planner, I saw an opportunity to fll a gap in the events space while also transforming underutilized locations like Goodwill Park. Events like these not only provide micro-businesses with greater exposure but also create meaningful experiences for people to enjoy right at home,” said Ms. McDougall. `! Whether you’re shopping for a Valentine’s gift, enjoying live entertainment, or indulging in sweet treats, this event is designed to create memorable moments for couples, families, and friends.”
