We announce the Death of 75 year old Lorne Aldith Polydore nee Royer of Bense who resided at 15th Street, Canefield. She died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados on 26 September 2024.

She leaves to mourn:

Three daughters: Lilian Polydore-Williams, Ernie Polydore-Regis, Erica Polydore

Grandchildren: Danielle Polydore-Paul, Hope Williams

Sons- in-Law: Ian Williams, Ian Regis

Sisters: Elaine Benjamin in the UK, Magdaline Joseph in St Croix, Letitia Royer in Bense

Nieces: Marlene & Nina Benjamin, and Alie Felix in the UK, Cassandra Alexander, and Anthea Royer in Canada, Maymer, Vania and Susan nee Hopkins in the US, Merle, Daphney and Agatha

Nephews: Matthew and Elvin Benjamin in the UK, Peter Liburd in Canada Michael Hopkins and Matthew Benjamin in the US, Josiah Dupuis, Michael and Mervin Royer

Sisters and Brothers In-laws including: Sonia, Bimbla, and Sharon Felix and Marcella Seraphine, Tony Balfond in Tobago, Mary and Corinthia Polydore and others

The funeral mass will take place at the St Martin de Pores Roman Catholic Church in Canefield on 23 October 2024

  • Viewing will be from 1:30pm
  • Funeral Mass will begin at 2:00pm

Her body will be laid to rest at the Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Roseau.
