The Dominica Hospitals Authority is pleased to inform the general public of the resumption of our mammography service commencing Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This marks a significant achievement as we join the world in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To officially relaunch our mammography service, we invite the public to an information-sharing open house session on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital Auditorium. Healthcare professionals will discuss the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, as well as other cancers such as prostate and colon cancer. This event will also include how to prepare for a mammogram and feature testimonials from breast cancer survivors.
Persons with a referral from their physicians are now able to schedule a mammography appointment. Please contact The Diagnostic Imaging Department at 266-2110, 275-4658 (call or WhatsApp) or email at diagnosticimaging @domhospitals.dm
