It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Charles Seaman also known as Charlie, Teacher Charlie and Uncle Charlie of Vieille Case who resided in West Palm Beach, Florida. He died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 11, 2023 at the Wellington Regional Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was 65 years old. He was a well loved, popular and passionate teacher for numerous years at the Vieille Case, Penville and Thibaud Primary Schools and Principal of the Bense, Savanne Paille, Belles and Wesley Primary Schools in Dominica and most recently a teacher at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School in Florida.
He was a talented yet humble musician especially the lead guitar and keyboard. He was an avid fisherman and former Boy Scout Leader.

A private and intimate funeral for the late Charles Seaman also known as Charlie, Teacher Charlie and Uncle Charlie will take place in West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday July 25th, 2023. A memorial service and interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Dominica.
