We announce the death of 82 year old Githa Virginia Andrew of Colihaut. She died on February 15th, 2023 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She is survived by four sons, Henie Parillon, Clement, Ralph, and Antoine Langlais and three daughters, Clemencia Charles, Ina Joseph and Daisy Langlais.
Eleven grandchildren: Marcus In Canada, Veronique in St.Martin, Johannah, Anoushka, Anashja, Alix and Arie in the US. Marcellous, Fabien, Ineka and Aneliese in Dominica.
Eight great grandchildren: Marcquis, Nathaniel, Adelaide, Andre and Nehemiah in Canada. Ava and Nayeli in St. Martin, and Kylie in Dominica.
One brother Stanford Andrew, Two daughters in law: Lenita Parillon and Estella Langlais. One son in law: Benedict Charles
Numerous nieces and nephews, including Sandra and Edith Bell, Lucien Adams and Martha and Elford Andrew.
Close relatives and friends, too numerous to mention, Including Lydia Langlais, Davina Dequental, Marlyn Peter, Clavia Sebastian, the Zamore and Andrew families and the Colihaut Community.
The funeral service for the late Githa Andrew will be held at the Colihaut Catholic Church on Saturday 25th, February, 2023. Viewing will begin at 2:30pm, followed by the interment at the Colihaut Catholic Cemetery.
