The former Member of Parliament for the Roseau South Constituency, Attorney Joshua Francis has announced his departure from politics.
He says, “I journeyed to make Dominica a better place. All I ever desired…was to help in making Dominicans experience a better life, especially for the bare foot man. I gave my all- sacrificed a lot”.
Francis says that his decision came following recent observations and he concluded that he leaving the political arena is the best decision for him and others at this time. He says, “I need a break for repair and restoration in what has been taken and broken in my personal life”.
He thanks the United Workers Party and says that it was “a distinguished honour and privilege to serve our country as a Member of Parliament”.
Francis promises to assist wherever possible behind the scenes and also in the identification of a new care taker for the Roseau South Constituency.
