The objectives and mission of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Dominica is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skill, social responsibility, fellowship and entrepreneurship necessary to create positive change.
In light of this JCI Dominica has partnered with L’Express Des îles to award a full tuition scholarship to one (1) deserving student to pursue any business related subject at the Dominica State College. This opportunity is open to all 5th forms students within Dominica who are sitting the 2019 CSEC examinations.
Steps for scholarship application are as follows:
1) Complete registration form. This process can be completed via the following JCI Dominica approved link: https://goo.gl/forms/ZLSbgfBiMHIRBqOs2 or through the students respective school where hardcopies of the registration form are available.
2) Email [email protected] with;
a) Statement of purpose (500 – 1000 words) Typed in Times New Roman, font size 12 and double spaced and
b) Names of two (2) references and contact details.
The successful applicant, which will be determined based on a combination of need, merit and response within their statement of purpose, will be awarded the JCI Dominica / L’Express Des îles Excellence award at their graduation, along with the two-year tuition scholarship at the Dominica State College.
This opportunity is initiated under the JCI Dominica Dream Come True Program; one of the many subdivisions/committees of JCI Dominica which aims to create impact within Dominica.
