The Annual General Meeting of the National Development Foundation took place on Wednesday 3oth January 2019 at the Prevo Cinemall Conference Room under the theme, “Creating an Enabling Environment for our MSME Sector that drives Economic Growth and Future Development’.
Executive Director of the National Development Foundation Limited, Cletus Joseph reported a successful year for 2017. As of December 31st, 2017 total assets of the NDFD stood at $20616.982 with total liabilities of $17,395,332 which showed slight growth over previous years. There was an increased in loan receivables of $372,000, which was much more than that of 2016.
The NDFD had total revenue for the period of $2510, 550 and total expenses of $1525, 359 leaving an operational surplus of $985,191 for the period. The NDFD continues to aim for financial sustainability despite unexpected events.
