As part of Drug Awareness Month 2019, Drug Prevention Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the Youth Development Division 4H Program organized a 4H Festival and Drug March in Portsmouth on January 31st, 2019.

The activity started with an official ceremony with the various 4H groups putting on performances and brief speeches by representatives of Youth Division and Drug Prevention Unit. Also, the Junior Achievers displayed various ways to do agriculture. The students marched through Portsmouth with Placards warning about the dangers of drugs.

The Ministry of Health is observing January as Drug Awareness Month under the theme: “Youth! Let’s talk about alcohol and other drugs: A conversation that could change your life.”
