A major milestone in healthcare modernisation was achieved on May 29 with the signing of a contract for the National Digital Health Information System (NDHIS) at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.
The agreement, signed between the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission and the St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association, will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of a digital platform aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery throughout the Federation.
Terrance Drew, who also serves as Minister of Health, described the initiative as a transformative investment in both healthcare and local innovation. He highlighted the extensive process undertaken to ensure the system meets internationally recognized standards.
Founder of the St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association, Ricardo Neil, noted that the system received commendation from the Pan American Health Organization for meeting international benchmarks. He also praised the contributions of the Federation’s young innovators and students of CFBC who played a role in the project.
The NDHIS is expected to improve the efficiency, connectivity, and overall quality of healthcare services, marking another significant step toward a modern digital health system for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
