The 39th annual Charismatic Conference, which took place from May 24th – 26th at the Portsmouth Roman Catholic Church has been deemed a huge success.

This year’s theme was “I alone am God, your Lord” and according to the conference coordinator, Mr. Martin Anthony, “The annual Catholic Conference has reached a very high point thanks to the goodness and power of God. The lord in this year giving us a most fitting reminder, ” I alone am God, Your Lord”. The service team met and after prayerful guided reflection, that scripture passage emerged from which the theme was developed”.

Guest speakers included  Rev.Fr.David Khan, a diocesan Catholic priest in Port of Spain Trinidad and Father Donald Dean Chambers from the Archdiocese of Kingston, Jamaica who was also celebrating 27 years of priesthood. The conference participants took part in a spirit filled worship, healing and engaging sessions on the Holy Spirit, the source of grace and power and faithfulness to God.
