As part of the Government’s Housing Expansion Program and in collaboration with Sustainable Housing Solutions Ltd, twenty-eight (28) houses were presented to persons from the community of St. Joseph.

Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit said that the houses were presented to those persons who lost their homes during Hurricane Maria and others who had housing challenges prior to the hurricane.

Beneka Riviere, one of the recipients expressed her gratitude to the Government. She said that as a single mother of three, it is not an easy task to provide basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter for her family. She said that one of her greatest task was providing a safe comfortable home for her family, so she is indeed grateful to be one of the beneficiaries.

There was also a groundbreaking ceremony for another 36 units.
