BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (BGIS) — The temporary suspension by Barbados on the importation and licensing of remotely piloted aircraft systems, also known as unmanned aircraft systems or drones, has been extended for an additional 12 months, which took effect April 1.
According to the ministry of tourism and international transport, the cabinet of Barbados also approved a temporary exemption on a case by case basis for drones, which are imported and exported immediately after usage.
