We announce the death of 73-year-old Joan Francisca James, better known as Miss Joan, who resided in Yam Piece. She died on May 10th, 2025.
She is survived by:
Children: Sherman and Pheona Alleyne, and Sherlyn and Vincent Bedneau
Adopted son: Jowakym Julien
Grandchildren: Sherniah, Verlisia, Euan, Jahlen, Jayden, Melwana, Vernisa, Zayah, Vershany and Sherlen

Brothers: Gregoire and Belvince Anselm and Jackson James in Dominica; Ernest, Eustace, and Eddie James in USA; Jessie James in England

The funeral service the late Joan Francisca James will be held at Truth and Grace Fellowship Global on Tuesday May 27th, 2025, Viewing will be from 1:30 followed by the Service at 2”00 pm and interment at the Roseau Public Ceremony.
