Roseau, Dominica – 7th January 2025 – The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) is pleased to announce its 55th Annual General Meeting, set to take place on January 10, 2025, at the picturesque Villa Copthall. This year’s theme, “Reimagining Tourism: A New Era for Dominica’s Tourism,” reflects the association’s commitment to advancing innovative approaches and sustainable development in the industry.
The event will feature an address by the Minister for Tourism, Mrs. Denise Charles-Pemberton, who will share insights on the government’s vision and strategies for the future of Dominica’s tourism sector. The keynote address will be delivered by Ms. Dahlia Guard, CEO of the St. Lucia Community Tourism Agency, a renowned leader in the Caribbean’s community tourism initiatives.
The DHTA’s Annual General Meeting is a key event in Dominica’s tourism calendar, bringing together stakeholders from across the industry, including hoteliers, tour operators, policymakers, and community representatives. It provides a platform to assess the progress of the past year, discuss emerging trends, and strategize for a resilient and prosperous tourism sector.
