Dominican-Canadian Centenarian Theresa Paul Cuffy of Grand Fond passes on

The Paul-Cuffy family sadly announce the passing of Theresa Paul Cuffy on September 19th, 2024, at the age of 100 years and 3 months.   She was born in Grand Fond on May 11th, 1924, and died in Canada where she has lived for the past 40+ years.

She is survived by her children Francisca Cuffy and Eugenia Cuffy Ali in Canada; and Clifford Cuffy in St. Croix.

21 Grandchildren – Grayson Shillingford of York Regional Police; Larry Rivière, Peter Cuffy, Caesy Cuffy-Robinson, Stratford Cuffy, Tryphena Cuffy, Grace Cuffy, Tabitha Cuffy, Miranda Martin, Teresa-Anne Martin, Simone Martin, Aline Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Nicole Martin-Walker, Gertrude Martin, Juliette Martin, Lynda Paul LaFord, Elenora Dangleben, Teresa Ann Dangleben, Jason Mason and Augustus Martin

One sister in Guadeloupe – Iona Paul Virin

Daughter in In-law – Dorine Cuffy

38 great-grandchildren, 19 second-great-grandchildren, many nieces, many grand  nephews, other family members, and dear friends, all of whom carry her spirit in their hearts.

She was pre-deceased by her son Rudy Martin in Canada and Solange Cuffy in Dominica.

Viewing will take place at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke on Tuesday October 1st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Funeral Mass on Wednesday October 2nd, at 10:00AM at St Andrews Catholic Church, 2547 Kimpling Avenue in Etobicoke. 

Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
