Antiguan Student of Dominican Parentage Achieves Remarkable Success at CSEC- 17 Grade ones

Kadisha Valerie, a brilliant young student from Antigua, whose parents hail from Dominica, has made her family and community proud by achieving an outstanding 17 Grade Ones and 3 Grade Twos in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams. Her parents, Gregg and Tamara Valerie, who are originally from Dominica, expressed immense pride in their daughterโ€™s achievements.

Her father, Gregg Valerie, shared his joy, stating, “I am very pleased. She has always been focused, and I wasn’t surprised since she really worked hard. She is a go-getter, set her goal, and worked hard to achieve it. I always told her to put God first and pray before every exam, and she did just that. God rewarded her faith and hard work.”

Tamara Valerie, her mother, highlighted Kadisha’s dedication to helping others along her academic journey. “What I admired most about this achievement is the fact that she assisted others along the way. She organized study groups for students not only at her school but at other schools as well, and she shared her knowledge with them. I saw that one parent thanked her on Facebook for motivating her son to succeed. She prayed for her peers to succeed and often gave them pep talks when they felt discouraged. I am extremely proud of her compassion and genuine love for her friends.”
