We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved mother Maria Gustave nee Lazare age 72 from Petite Soufriere. She departed this world on Friday July 5th at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She survived by her :
Husband: Mr.Raliff Gustave.
5 children: Antonia Gustave Francis , Mason and Matthew Gustave , Fabian Joseph and Joseph Lazare all in Dominica.
Grandchildren including: Dervon Leathem and Nadeska Joseph Allan in the U.S.A. , Cameron and Cyannah Gustave in NewYork , Tamisha Reid , Ayannah Francis,
Shanece,Shirquan,shayim,Shirshawn,Sharlize,Markel, Tyla and Tisha, Gustave.Sherniqua,Tatiannah,Tiannah,Tariq,Tyriq and Tarj in Dominica.
Great grandchildren including: Zack in the U.S.A Denyque, D’Narie and Donique in Dominica.
1 Sister: Frances Royer in Vielle Case.
2 Daughters-in-law including:Tracy and Tanneth Lafond Gustave.
1 son-in-law: Andrew Francis of the Dominica fire Department.
Nieces including: Paulina,Martha, Phyllis,Martina,Avis,Virgin,Eleanora,Alexia, and Gilma in Dominica.Vitalis Dangleben in B.V.I and Sherma Lazare in the U.S.A.
Nephews: Kenneth,Gaius,Sheperd,Darrel,Sylvarie Dangleben,Emilous,Nicholas,Martin,Cornelius,Carbon,
Avis,Brinner and Anselm.Two nephews in the Kalinago Territory , Pastor Afford in Curacao, Marley and Arley in the U.K and Nicholas Lazare in the U.S.A.
Many Grand nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to mention.
Close Relatives and friends including: Miss.BB, Lorna ,Joanicia,Juliette, lucia,Yolanda, Alfred, Dominique, Claron and Family in Dixpas, the Stoute Family in Petite Soufriere and San-Sauveur, the Lazare family in GrandFond, the Gustave family, the Castle Bruce Health team especially Nurse ; cuffy and Vigilant.
Special friends: Prime Minister Roosvelt Skerrit, Presly Bonnie, Johnson Drigo, Hon.Octavia Alfred, Senator
Austelle Lockhart, Alfred, Pastor Lester Joseph and Julius Henry, Pastor Vaughn Vigilant and congregation. Many other relatives and friends in the communities of Petite Soufriere, San-Sauveur, Good Hope, Morpo, Dixpas, Castle Bruce and in the Diaspora names too numerous too mention.
The body of our beloved Maria Gustave nee Lazare will be viewed at 2pm . Funeral service will take place on Friday 19th July at the Castle Bruce Pilgrim church (Glu-Glu) at 3p.m , followed by her final resting place at the CastleBruce public cemetery.
