Death announcement of 71 year old Peter St. Ville better known as ‘Paylayw’ of Fond St. Jean.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Peter St. Ville better known as ‘Paylayw’ age 71 of Fond St. Jean. He departed this life on Friday, April 19th at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital

His memories are left with:

3 sons: Dorian, Jerry & Cokes

2 daughters: Rosie & Paula

7 grandchildren: Tiffany, Kevin, Kenny, Keanna, Amanda, Claive & Midian

3 brothers: Jerome, Mitchell & Simon

5 sisters: Cecilia, Helena, Marie, Catherine & Evaline

2 brother’s in law: David & Robin

1 sister in law: Bernadine

15 nephews: Jeffery, Jeffers, Fabian, Christopher, Richardson, Emanuel, Peter, Isiah, Kelvin, Glenford, Steve, Adrian, Jeffery, Don & Alvin

19 nieces: Priscilla, Sarah, Nancy, Shanda, Vida, Josephine, Seraphine, Evadney, Bertha, Beverly, Primrose, Annie, Euthella, Glorine, Josian, Merlyn, Mildred, Marva & Debbie

2 niece’s in law: Elma & Clarencia (Caretaker)

4 nephew’s in law: Vincent, Rawlins, Curtis & Dennis

Numerous great grand & grandnephews & nieces including: Cameron, Joemalie, Henson (caretaker), Dwight, Dwayne, Miguel, Marvin Jr, Shiloh, Chard, Jemmol, Justin, Rawlins Jr, Mercia, Delphin, Mericia, Jakeima, Nelia, Fredrika, Patrice, Camesha, Shanisha, Unique, Morgan, Grace, Faith, Cura, Cassie, Josette, Kernita

Other family and friends including the St. Ville families of Boetica, the Durand families of Petite Soufriere & San Sauvuer, Hon. Jullan Defoe, the entire communities of Fond St. Jean, Bagatelle, Fab, Pointe Caribe, the nurses doctors and staff on the Alford ward and many others too numerous to mention.

The body of the late Peter St. Ville will be transported from the Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing at 2pm on Friday, May 3rd at the Grand Bay Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass begins at 3pm followed by interment at the Grand Bay Catholic Cemetery.
