Flow repurposing its 2G network to bolster 3G & 4

Dominica’s leading telecommunications provider is proud to announce its latest initiative – the refarming of its 2G network.

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing the best possible network experience for customers, Flow will repurpose its 2G spectrum to improve its 3G and 4G offerings.

The move will deliver faster data speeds and additional coverage for mobile customers, while also paving the way for future innovations in wireless technology.

“With the increased demand for high-speed data and the increase in the number of 4G capable handsets on our network, refarming our 2G spectrum is a necessary step in keeping up with the evolving needs of our customers,” said Sharon, Country Manager, Flow Dominica.

“We understand this transition may cause some inconvenience for a small percentage of our customers who still rely on 2G technology, however, we will work closely with these customers to ensure a smooth transition to alternative services. The refarming process will take place over the next few weeks, and we will keep our customers informed of any updates and changes along the way.”

Flow encourages customers who are still using a 2G phone to visit their Roseau office for a special offer them to upgrade their phone and avoid any loss of service.
