in the ECCB’s highly acclaimed 40th Anniversary Lecture Series

25 September 2023, Basseterre, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis – The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s highly acclaimed Lecture Series in celebration of its 40th Anniversary moves to the Commonwealth of Dominica on Tuesday, 26 September, 2023, starting 7:00p.m. at Saint Alphonsus Parish Hall.

The Colourful Economy is the theme of the 40th Anniversary Lecture Series, which will culminate with the ECCB@40 Global Conference being held in collaboration with the Central Banking Autumn Meetings at the ECCB Headquarters in St. Kitts from 8-10 November, 2023. 

The theme for the Commonwealth of Dominica Edition is Leveraging Dominica as the Nature Isle: Green and Orange Economies.  Moderating the night’s lecture is environmental lawyer and entrepreneur, Ms. Annika Bellot, who will manage the discussions generated by the distinguished panel.  The esteemed panelists are the Owner of Ken’s Hinterland Adventure Tours and Transfer Service, Mr. Kenneth George Dill; Private Sector Consultant and Project Manager, Ms. Lizra Fabien; Economist and Intellectual Property Expert, Mr. McCarthy Marie; CEO/Director of Tourism at Discover Dominica Authority, Mr. Colin Piper; and Developer and Managing Director of Jungle Bay Dominica, Mr. Samuel “Sam” Raphael. 

The Colourful Economy and its intersection with sustainable development have provided stimulating discussions during the successful staging on 21 July, 22 June, 31 May, 20 April, 23 March and 28 February, 2023 of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Yellow and Green Economies), Montserrat (Yellow Economy), Grenada (Blue, Orange and Green Economies), Saint Lucia (Green and Purple Economies), Antigua and Barbuda (Silver Economy) and Anguilla (Blue and Green Economies) Editions, respectively.
