Death Announcement of 62 year old Cecillia Evelyn Williams of Bourne and 71 year old Mary Miriam Remie Luke better known as Mimin of Glanvillia Portsmouth who resided in St Martin

We announce the death of Mrs. Cecillia Evelyn Williams of Bourne, also known as Siso, Age: 62; teacher of Arthur Waldron SDA Academy.  She was the: wife of George Williams also known as BL. She died at her residence on July 19th 2023.

She’ll be remembered by:

 Her son: Elisha (E-lie-sha) Cecil Remy, 

Her mother: Victoria Remy, 

Sister: Ermalyn Er-mer-lyn Remy, 

Her brother: Arthur James. 

Grandchildren: Ka-shayne, Kha-ja-nie, Khalil and Kham-ryn Remy, 

Daughter in law: Raquel (Ra-kel) Remy. 

Nieces: Verlyn Peter, Nelva Magloire, Shermaine Remy, Bendora Dorsette, Althea Williams, Kathy, Caris and Camille Hamlet, Dania Ferrol, Giselle Williams -Va~che, Ki-ma-sha Williams and others too numerous to mention. 

Nephews: Greg Luke, Clayton Magloire, Kevin James.

Grandnephews: Dennick Luke (international Athlete) Naevaughn (Nea~von) James, Ja~ma~el Peter, Stephon (Ste~fon), Kevon and Kevan James, Jervon, Jervony, Jamal, Keddy, Navid.

Grandnieces: Cashma, Synerah, Jynnel Jaileni, Nyila.

Brothers and sisters In-laws including: Jeanette Carriere, Judith Benjamin, Celina Hamlet, Annette James, Dennis, Arthur, Joseph, Augustine and Julienne Williams.

Aunts In-law: Jane Cognet, Regina Bezar, Morina John, Veron Paul and Francilia Williams.

Close relatives and friends Dr. Laura Williams, Dr, Narelle Magloire-Durand, Jean Remy, Evadney Shillingford, Bethel Bannis, Norma Leblanc, Bernadette, Verna Williams, B.A, Jeff Charles, Gilbertson Peter. Desmond Williams. New and Mavis Augustine

She will also be remembered by Staff students of Arthur Waldron SDA Academy (past and present). Everson Magloire and family, Nelister, Ma DeRoche, The Challengers, Lockhart, Walters and Remy families. The members of the Bourne and Portsmouth SDA churches and Dominica by extension, Gwopwel, Charlo and Vernara. Her Jamaican and overseas friends like: Anngennie Anderson, Rudollph Kimberly, Akim Gordon, Anthony MCclean, Jayden Hall, Jailen Dawson, Vinnette Jackson Beckford and others too numerous to mention.

She will be remembered and greatly missed by the many people and customers for whom she was their Garment Service Provider.

She was a Labourite and strong supporter of the government and Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit. 

There’ll be a joint funeral service for Cecillia Evelyn Williams (Sisso) of Glanvillia who resided in Bourne and her Sister Miriam Luke of Glanvillia who resided in St. Martin. The service will be held at the Portsmouth SDA Church on Sunday 6th August, viewing from 11am to 12 noon, the service begins at 12 noon.  The interment will be at Chance public cemetery.

We announce the death of Mary Miriam Remie Luke better known as Mimin of Glanvillia Portsmouth but resided in St Martin. She died on Thursday July 13th at her residence in Concordia St Martin.

 She leaves to mourn:
