Dominican Production Maestro Dwight Winston gets nominated for the 75th annual Emmy Awards

Dwight Winston’s illustrious career in the production industry as an aerial camera operator, video editor and founder of a flourishing production company, D Winston Media LLC, is a tapestry woven with brilliance and star-studded achievements. Hailing from the nature island of the Caribbean, Dominica, he has journeyed far and wide, leaving an indelible mark on some of the most iconic projects.

Remarkably, Winston was nominated for outstanding cinematography in a reality show as an aerial camera operator at the 75th annual Emmy Awards. Upon interview with EmoNews Ltd, he noted that his involvement in various national and local TV commercials for major brands, as well as movies, music videos, and documentaries, are all notable projects which have contributed to this prestigious nomination. “Upon receiving the nomination, I was overjoyed and filled with happiness. It holds significant meaning as it symbolizes the reward for hard work, unwavering focus, and mastery of one’s craft,” he remarked.

Pointedly, Winston’s expertise extends beyond the television realm, having worked with major recording artists such as Fat Joe, Future, Barrington Levy, Pressure Busspipe, Junior Reid, and Tanya Stephens. With an unmatched ability to capture the essence of music through visuals, his collaborations with these musical luminaries have created spellbinding experiences for audiences. 

Further, his talents have also extended to reality stars and celebrities, solidifying his reputation as the go-to production maestro. His work with personalities like Malik Yoba, Yandy Smith (Love and Hip hop NY) and Angela Yee (the Breakfast Club) has garnered acclaim for its creativity and captivating storytelling. He has also captured various major concerts, including Rolling Loud, Dreamfest and Paradise Festival.

As it relates to the future, Dominica’s production maestro highlighted that he is currently engrossed in working on an exhilarating film project to be shot in Dominica. “As we embark on this cinematic venture, we’ll be in need of casting and production support on the island.
