RAYASTA FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES TRAINING IN STROKE REHABILITATION AND RECOVERY

Roseau, DOMINICA- The RayAsta Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its “Caregivers” training program for stroke patients. With the help of the Dominica State College and a team of experienced professionals, this certified course will provide comprehensive learning and training opportunities to caregivers, family members, community health aides, and anyone interested in learning more about how to care for stroke patients.

“Training caregivers and community health aids on stroke rehabilitation and recovery will benefit stroke patients and their families significantly,” says Monelle Alexis, PR Campaign Coordinator for the RayAsta Foundation. “Caregivers and community health aides will be trained in rehabilitation techniques such as proper positioning, transferring, standing, sitting, and walking stroke patients to help them regain their independence and quality of life.”

By having a well-trained staff of caregivers and community health aides, stroke patients can receive more comprehensive care, leading to improved outcomes and a better overall quality of life. Additionally, having trained caregivers and community health aides helps reduce the burden on healthcare systems while providing access to care for underserved areas.

The training program begins July 17 at 5 pm at the Dominica State College, in classroom BC 10. The cost for registration is $250.00, with registration options available through RAYASTA Foundation’s Office (17 Kennedy Avenue, Roseau, Tel 767-448-0571 / 767-277-6233), or via the link https://bit.ly/3AF2yvr. Individuals between 18-65 who are interested are encouraged to register soon for their ten weeks of training.

The RayAsta Foundation is committed to providing comprehensive education about stroke prevention & rehabilitation so that everyone can access the best possible care. They look forward to seeing you at their upcoming training session!
