The Hon. Roland Royer, Minister for Agriculture, concluded his tour of the island’s agricultural regions on Wednesday May 10th 2023, with a visit to the South Agricultural Region. Accompanying him are Minister of State Jullan Defoe, Parliamentary Secretary Lakeyia Joseph, and technical staff from the Ministry of Agriculture. During the visit, the group will meet with farmers who are engaged in crop production and animal husbandry on a commercial level. At 4.00pm, the Minister and his entourage held a general meeting at the Pierre Charles Secondary School for all the farmers in the South Region. These visits were organized so that the Minister could personally interact with farmers in his capacity. This marks the seventh and final tour of the island’s agricultural regions
