It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Maria Cynothia Hilton, affectionately known as Cyno, aged 89 years of Massacre, who resided in the USA. She died at her daughter’s home in New York on Wednesday, 19th April, 2023.
She leaves to mourn her four children: Matilda Royer in Dominica, Cindy McDonough, Flynne Ettienne, and Miranda Ettienne Thomas in the USA.
Seven grandchildren : Layne and Lowell Royer in Dominica, Marva Royer-Fortune, Marlen Royer, Alyssa and Ashley McDonough, Anika Ettienne, and adopted grandchild Raisa Moulon all in the USA.
Four great-grandchildren: Sade, Layne Jr., and Arliandro Royer in Dominica and Tatiana Royer in the USA.
One sister, Emilia Hilton, and one nephew, Fitzroy Hilton, in the USA.
Grand-nephew and grand-niece Johnathan and Nicole Hilton in the USA.
Son-in-law George McDonough and daughter-in-law Mary Ettienne.
Grandson-in-law Gershwyn Fortune in the USA. Great grand nephew and niece: Nathan and Kernisha in the USA.
The Hilton, Renault, Ettienne, and Daniel Families of Massacre and Pottersville.
Close friends and relatives including Lorna Hamilton and family, Lecent Hill and family, Vandalyn Fleming, Elaine Williams, Alicia Cuffy, Victoria Pacquette, Betty Williams in Dominica and Delauney Garrett, Vanita Cassel, Jennifer Blanc, Ramoline and Vincent Austrie, Paula George, Yolande Magloire and Sceff Casimir and Betty Belony in the USA and Lornicks Cockrane and family in Canada.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, 29th April 2023 at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Queens NY.
Service is at 10am.
Internment at the St. Charles Roman Catholic Cemetery.
