Roseau, Dominica- September 06, 2022: The Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Business and Export Development, after the review of petroleum product prices of Gasoline, Diesel and Kerosene for this regulatory cycle, has recommended changes in the prices. Cabinet has therefore approved a reduction in prices as follows:
With immediate effect, the new price for gasoline is $16.38 per gallon, a reduction of $2.28 per gallon. The price of diesel has been reduced by $0.76 to $16.37 per gallon and kerosene has been reduced by $0.77 to $15.90 per gallon.
Notwithstanding these price decreases, the Government of Dominica will continue to apply measures to cushion the impact of increased petroleum product prices until the retail price of each product returns to below EC $15.00 per gallon. This includes:
